One sleepless night, I woke up with a nasty fever and persistent pain throughout my whole body. I took some over-the-counter meds and found myself clicking around through different social media accounts at 3 a.m. to distract myself until the pain meds finally kicked in. It was then that I saw an Instagram DM from the lovely Angie from Boots on the Ground (also here’s her Instagram profile).

I read that line again.
