At first, I was a little hesitant to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, Canada. I mean, it had a hefty price-tag of $42 for an adult ticket – albeit $42 Canadian dollars so at least the conversion rate was a bit in my favor. But still, that was a lot of money to walk across a bridge, right? But with some prodding from other friends, we decided to do it, and I’m so glad we did. Four Ways that Vancouver is Underrated
This past week, I, along with a couple of friends, went up to Vancouver, Canada, and it was absolutely amazing! I hadn’t heard a lot about Vancouver before going – like what is there to see? What is there to do? But after spending a week discovering the city, we found four ways that Vancouver is underrated.
I Got Bitten by a Vampire at Cape Breton Island. Twice.
It was July 18, 2017, and we had just docked at Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. We headed on the bus – all four of us – with several others and our guides, Claude and – well, I don’t remember what the other one’s name was. I only remember Claude, because he was telling us all a bunch of lies, like how the trees in Nova Scotia turn blue in the fall or that he met Charles de Gaulle and he was nearly seven feet tall. Lies.
After an hour and a half of Claude and what’s-his-name’s nonsense, we reached our destination: the trailhead to Uisage Ban Falls.
